Refund policy
1. General Policy
We want you to be delighted with your purchase, but if for any reason you are not satisfied, you may be eligible to return your item subject to the conditions below.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. This policy applies to all orders excluding personalised or customised items (see Section 5).
We do not offer exchanges for online purchases, including for ring sizes or other sizing issues.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return:

Your item must be in the same condition you received it — unworn, unused, undamaged, with all original tags, packaging, and any included accessories.

You must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or breakage caused by misuse or human error are not eligible for refund or replacement.
3. How to Start a Return
- Contact us at info@bymeem.co.uk or via our Contact Us form to request a return.
- Once approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
- Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.
4. Return Costs
- Customer Responsibility: All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This applies to both UK and international returns, and whether the return is due to a change of mind, a sizing issue, or a faulty item.
- Customers are responsible for purchasing and arranging their own return shipping label with a reliable, trackable courier. We recommend using insured services to ensure safe return.
- International Customs Duties & Taxes: These are not refunded for orders returned to us from outside the EU.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We are unable to accept returns on:

Engraved, monogrammed, or personalised items (unless faulty on arrival).

Items purchased during final sale promotions (unless faulty on arrival).
If a personalised or customised item is faulty, please contact us before returning so we can arrange a replacement or refund.
6. Faulty or Defective Items
We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any fault with your jewellery.

Please contact our Customer Service Team before returning the item so we can advise you of the next steps and expected time frame.

If the item is confirmed as faulty due to a manufacturing defect, we will offer a replacement or refund.

Breakage, damage, or tarnishing caused by misuse, accident, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.
7. Warranty
We offer a two-year warranty on all our jewellery covering manufacturing defects only (e.g., breakage or tarnishing not caused by misuse).

If a manufacturing defect occurs within this period, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.

To make a warranty claim, please contact us at info@bymeem.co.uk with proof of purchase and clear images of the fault.
8. Refund Process

We aim to process all approved returns within 14 working days from receipt of the returned item.

During busy periods (e.g., holiday season), this may take up to 30 working days.

All refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.

Please note, it may take your bank or credit card provider additional time to post the refund.
9. Items Damaged by Human Error
We cannot offer refunds, replacements, or repairs for items damaged by:

Dropping, bending, or physical force

Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, or water (unless stated as water-safe)

General wear and tear from everyday use
